I picked up a 256GB 2.3GHz MacBook Pro 15, got it for a decent price second hand and it's still relatively powerful so thought why not. I've used it for around 5 weeks now and the screen ghosting can be very noticeable. I've checked and it's an LG screen, machine manufactured December 2012, purchase date Jan 2013, with warranty until 2016. So it's still under AppleCare, what would Apple do in this situation? Repair, replace? - what were you people who had this issue offered?
