Hello!
I just received my MacBook Pro 16" and working using them since yesterday. Today after short break when I back to work I have noticed that all computer is freeze. Few second later fans starts on full speed and computer was restarted. When I logged back I seen error:
BAD MAGIC! (flag set in iBoot panic header), no macOS panic log available

Does anyone faced with this kind of issue on MBP 16" or earlier?

I had exactly this happen with the same error message repeatedly when I tried to use a Blackmagic eGPU with my 16” MBP. It wasn’t the MBPs fault, because a 2018 MBP also crashed the same way. I think the eGPU was faulty, I returned it and am currently waiting for replacement.

I think in general this happens when the CPU gets a “machine check exception” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine-check_exception), which indicates a serious hardware issue. The entire system then has to immediately stop and can’t even write crash logs, which is why the crash reporter shows this error about not being able to get the error information.

I don't use any external accessories except iPhone which was actually charging. I will wait, I have apple care and also read that 2018 models had the same issue, people replaced them and still. I also remember that I had similar situation on one of my previous macbooks and it was only once..

It wasn't immediately stop. I have seen my screen but unable to do anything around 30 seconds, then fans has started for 2 seconds and Mac was restarted.

I purchased a stock 2.3/16/1tb from an apple retail store. It did this twice during the initial setup of iCloud sync and installing previously purchased App Store apps. Nothing plugged in except official charger. It went right back to the store the next day. Serious hardware issue, please return it.
