Macbook Pro 16 - No sound initially

Setup new machine, I got the $2799 stock version.

I updated to the supplemental release available.

Decided to try Music since the speakers are supposed to be awesome.

No sound....hmmmm.

Went to prefs, clicked internal speakers and all is well.

Went back to prefs and selected "Selected Sound output device" and it still works.

So bottom line is all is now working fine just found it a bit strange I had to do that on new machine.

Think it is anything to worry abour or just sh&t happens and probably a Catalina bug ?

No doubt a bug of some kind, maybe not just Catalina. My 2016 15" has done something like that once in a while forever, though it may not be for the same reason. When it happens, it's usually after using the headphone jack, though that doesn't usually cause trouble.

Catalina bug for sure, have had similar happen before on my older MacBook Pro on Catalina.
