Got my MacBook Pro 16 with 64 GB RAM and 8 GB VRAM and hooked up two LG Ultra Fine 27 inch 5K displays but running into bad lag issues when both monitors are connected. Here's a video with one monitor attached:

One 5K monitor

Two 5K monitors

Anyone else with LG Ultra Fine 27 inch monitors experiencing the same issues?

I have a previous MacBook Pro 2018 that doesn't exhibit this issue. Contacting Apple as well.

Make sure to connect one monitor to a port on the left side of the MPB, and the second monitor to a port on the right side of the MBP. The left ports use one Thunderbolt bus, and the right ports use a second Thunderbolt bus. This setup splits the load evenly per Apple's recommendation:

Spent an hour with Apple tech support...after numerous attempts, we finally figured out that it's the monitor. Going back to Apple to get a replacement.

Yes, that monitor did not like the MacBook Pro 2019 16 inch for some reason. Even hooked up as a single monitor it lagged. Switched the cables, same thing. Went to Apple and they gave me a new monitor. All good now.

TWO 5K displays is also a lot of pixels to push, especially in conjunction with the internal display... I'm glad that there was a solution, but I wouldn't be surprised if some lag remains (although Apple claims it can actually do dual 6K displays).
