I have a 17"macbook pro(week21) and I have the screen brightness related buzz( silent until the ninth bar then a whine that increases until the max bar, way louder than the cpu whine that I had on the 3 previous mbps I returned). I'll be calling apple monday to fix this because I read somewhere on the forum that apple fixes this by replacing the screen ineptor or something,
what I want to know is do they erase all the stuff on the mac to fix this particular problem? do they reformat always, whatever the problem is? thank you for the answer
