Hey Guys,

Wondering if someone can lend me some insight in to what my possible problem with my MacBook Pro Screen could be.

Firstly, the MacBook Pro powers up perfectly fine, it hasn't been dropped (to my knowledge) and for its age it is in mint condition. My problem is that although the screen powers on with the MacBook and is backlight it doesn't actually display anything aside from several dark lines near the very top (please excuse my poor explanation - I can take photo's if that would help?).

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks,
XIII

Please post photos.

Also, which model is this? For example: Late 2011, Early 2011, Mid 2010, etc.

Photo's attached, I believe the MacBook is from 2006 although not entirely sure :S
