I'm trying to find a battery (online) to replace the current battery.
Oddly the battery matches that I've found for model A1309 all indicate that it is for a 17" MacBook Pro.

The specs (7.3v and 95Wh) as well as the pictures all seem to be the exact same battery as the one that I currently have now.

Does this sound correct? Can I purchase with confidence for my 19" ?

Ha! That is hilarious! My wife bought this Mac years ago. She always called it a 19". I'm not a Mac user, so whatever, I just knew that it has always been the biggest (and most impressive) screen in my house (aside from the TV) so I figured it's a 19". After all, the thing is a monster (for a laptop).
So she is now gonna catch so much teasing for causing me to eat this ***** sandwich here.
Thanks for the info/education 😛

Truly, there are still MANY (seemingly) who wish that Apple still made a 17" machine.. I am not one of them, but will never judge those who do!! 😎

Yeah, that's the same one she has. Enormous. But an absolutely beautiful screen.
It doesn't get the same use that it used to get ever since she got the iPad, but she says that the iPad doesn't do half of what the MacBook can do, so she wants to keep it running.
Thankfully there are PLENTY of batteries for the 17" 😉
