Macbook pro 2006 late and SSD SATA3

    Is it ok when I replace my HDD on my MBP late 2006 with a SSD SATA3?
    And if it is, how speed data transfer?

    Yes, you can replace the HDD with a SATA 3 SSD. I have a Samsung 830 256GB drive in my early 2006 MBP and it works fine. Link speed is only 1.5 Gb/s on your machine if I'm not mistaken, but the speed difference will be very noticeable.

    You're going to be limited to around 130MB/s. The good news is that you'll have a great SSD to move from your old MBP to your new one when you upgrade(as long as what you buy doesn't already have one).

    As I see, my MBP starts faster than before. :D
    Maybe I will buy new 13'' one, once this old can't be fix anymore

    Yup, the first :apple: in my life :D. So I have been treating she as a baby, I will wait for her eighteen :p
