Macbook Pro 2009, Yosemite and Bluetooth

Simple question, Is there any way to modify my Macbook Pro 2009 to use Bluetooth 4.0 for Yosemite's hand off feature?

As a 13" Macbook Pro 2009 owner I've done a bit of research on this! Unfortunately it doesn't help you, I think it's a no.

There is an option for the 2011 guys to upgrade but I believe the rest of us don't have any choice. Sorry.
