Hey guys,

I recently had the problem that my old charger did not work anymore on my macbook pro 2010. I just assumed that it was old, so I bought a new one. Unfortunately the new one does not work anymore, but only occasionally. The macbook doesn't recognize the charger at all. I really don't know what to do. Should I buy a new one? I don't have any guarantee from apple anymore, the charger I bought was from ebay.

Where are you based?

Well since you bought it on ebay, it could of been defective.
I would simply bring it into Apple and get it checked out with one of their chargers.
If it works fine, its the chargers fault.
If not, its your Mac.
