About 2 weeks ago i fell off my bike and my laptop hit the floor in my bag. From then on it randomly restarts while im on it. Its pretty random as to when it happens but i have noticed that when the lid has been closed and i open it, it will tend to trigger a restart.

    It is a mid 2010 macbook pro i5 15 inch, with user-upgraded 8gb ram.

I have already replaced the harddrive to an ssd and i am still getting the restarts. Any suggestions?

    Here is the error message.

My 2010 MBP 17" was logging out of my user profile on its on at random times. Did you experience the same thing?

Try using gfxCardStatus and set it to only use the iGPU, if you still have problems set it to the dGPU.

I had a similar issue (not from a drop) with the same model, I turned out my dGPU was dying. Apple did have an extended warranty for my issue so I had it fixed for free.
