macbook pro 2010 timed out problem

whenever i turn the macbook on, 9/10 times it wont connect and say it timed out. everything else connects fine.

any tips on what to do?
i dont have a WEP key or anything as it is open.

I've had that problem. I had to change the channel setting in the wireless router from 13 to 11. (Other pc's connected just fine)
