MacBook Pro (2011) keeps shutting down

Hey Guys,
So my MacBook Pro keeps shutting down, intermittently and randomly, sometimes seldom and sometimes every few hours.

What log can I check to see where the problem might be coming from?
And how would I go about exporting it and analysing it.

If that's a 15 inch from 2011 then it may well be the dGPU and Apple have a current repair extension until the end of 2016 for it.

You remind me of someone I went to school with. Weird.

Anyway we need a bit of background information. Like model/year of purchase. What your doing when it happens etc.
