MacBook Pro 2011 Model w/ Graphics Issues

So my MBPro bit the dust exactly 1 month outside the December 2016 date that I (unknown to me) had to send it off for a replacement logic board. Ive since taken the computer in to Genius and been told I need a new logic board at the cost of 850+ tax which is well beyond what i can afford. I believe there should be some leniency and that I am owed a repair at no cost, or half cost. But can't reach the proper person to discuss this with and the merry go round is driving me nuts.

Anybody have any suggestions?

You could try Tim Cook's email, which is online. If you write, usually an Apple rep will contact you. Some people have had success getting an extension, some not.
