Ok so when I play games on my macbook pro the video frame rate drop every few secs to like 1-4 frames then goes back to normal. I thought it was from heat do to the temps while gaming are around 80-95c but I can watch youtube while the game is running and youtube show no signs of frame drops while the game still skips. Now I'm trying to convert my vhs tapes to dvds. While recording it works great no problems but when I watch the file after it's recordied it stutters just like the games do. I've tried lowering the video quality and that fix's the problem but the video is too fuzzy then.

My old 2010 model had no problems recording at full video quality and gaming. I don't understand why this one is having problems when it's almost 2x faster. I run the hardware test, it's not showing any errors. What can I do to fix this.

    P.S
the problem still happens even when I get the cpu is around 70c.
