Got this weird black bar at the bottom of my new 13inch macbook pro 2016 when I turn it on.

After a few minutes it vanishes.

Anyone experienced something like this before?

Seems like its time to get yet another replacement. :(

Don't recall seeing that before, so it's probably not common. Does it also go away if you turn up the backlight?
 
Weird. It's almost like the backlight disperser thing (whatever that's called) bends into proper shape when it warms up. Anyway, doesn't look like a software issue, so you're likely right about it being time for another replacement, at least for the screen. Good luck!

and now after 20 minutes uptime everything is fine.
It seems to be a widespread issue related to the physical temperature of the metal case. My guess is a hardware design issue where the display components are not suitable insulated from the metal, causing the display to misbehave when the case is cold.
