As mentioned before, they are now available for order; shipping a couple weeks out.

I'm still considering one...I have a great coupon that I have to use before February 3rd. I imagine that I will be ordering one by then...for science and all.

I hope you enjoy the coil whine feature on the XPS15. It's innovation by Dell. Dell included a lot of secret features that are not on the specs list. Hope you enjoy your new Dell.

Apple made a mistake reducing battery size

At least they didn't repeat Dell's mistake of using a display panel that's clearly not designed for portables I am fairly sure that even with the KL+marginally larger battery, the Dell's battery life will still remain mediocre at best.

Btw, despite the reduced battery capacity, the 15" MBP battery life is significantly higher than the previous models. I am getting 9 or more hours in real work scenario where my 2015 had 7 hours at best.

and not waiting on the 7th gen processors.

And losing all the holiday sales + market share? You are funny. No, not waiting for the Kaby Lake was a very good business decision.

Huh? Who said I didnt already know the cons? I was pointing them out. You know how people are. One guy is getting 14 hrs on the battery, the next 4. One loves the keyboard, the next doesnt. Thats why return policies exist. Its gone.

He's saying you knew the cons, yet you still invested in the MBP and now you're moaning.

Enjoy your Dell.

"INSANE Coil Whine in the Kaby Lake Dell XPS 13"
IS THERE A NEWER COFFEE LAKE MODEL ALREADY?

Oh and I'm certainly not a "fanboy". But you can call me an ex-lover for DELL. Their customer service is top notch! :p Oh and the XPS is served with a side dish of BIOS bugs which is a great feature to elevate your tinkering skill. And the display is superior compared to the MacBook pro too. It's so innovative that sometimes when you use it after prolonged period, you can see the words burnt into it! I almost forget to mention the fans, they're quiet and shy at first, but then after using it for several months, they start to lack attention and scream for it. Yes, the trackpad. The trackpad is the "best windows trackpad" until it decides not to work for hold to drag.

But one thing which I would want to commend on the Dell is... it holds up very well. The built quality is great and after a few months full with surprises, you can still sell it to the next fanboy at a fairly reasonable price. :)

Enjoy your dell, fanboy.

The guy even states on the Video
Yup I know you're referring to the 15 inch. Expect same features on both. My ex is a XPS 15 anyways :)

Sorry I didn't intend to be sarcastic but Dell really pissed me off :) just a piece of advice

The guy even clearly states in the video that issue is 13 inch only. Totally useless post.
