I hope you don't try to use a USB-C device and wifi at the same time...

Could you elaborate a little more on the issue?

If you buy cheap devices and poorly shielded cable this can be an issue. Otherwise they work together fine.

Do a search for comments on this video from Novmeber. This is a poor device and cable.

Change your wifi to 5GHZ. Wrap your USB Adaptor in tin foil.

Yet it worked fine with the other laptop and older macbook pro. The 2016 model is definitely more prone to interferance than other models.

Every device is different as the ports/antennas are located in different places and therefore will show different interference patterns. There are plenty documented cases of USB3 interference for all major laptop brands out there.

Yikes, so it went from 'Wifi dropouts when using USB thumb drives' (a month ago BTW) to: 'You can't use USB-C and wifi at the same time'

BTW, that guy in the video is an alarmist.
