Less than 4 hours after my new MacBook Pro 13, 16gb, 1 tb arrived, The numbers on the keyboard did not work.A tech at Apple suggested I return the Mac and get a new one,afterhis troubleshooting, resetting, rebooting and diagnostics,failedto solve the problem.I contacted the vendor and was issues a return label.

choose apple menu>System Preferences,click Accessibility,then click mouse and trackpad.If Mouse keys is on, pressing the keys in the numeric keypad, moves the pointer instead of entering numbers.
