MacBook Pro 2016 Stands

Hey guys,

Is anyone else getting a stand for their 15 inch rMBP 2016? I was thinking of getting the Rain Design mStand (http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/HKEF2ZM/A/) but I am not certain if it will work with the thinner body. Do you think it'll fit or is there a better stand on the market I should get?

I have the old silver version and it fits fine.

I have one too and it works fine with the MBA which has an even thinner front than the new MBP. I expect the new MBP to fit it a bit better because of the thicker front. The mStand is one of the best stands you can get; very solid and it can fit many different notebooks.

I have this stand is silver. Got one years ago for my 2012 MBA 13". I had the 15" 2016 on it earlier this evening. It works well. It hangs over the back a bit but it was very stable and at a great angle/height for me. Paired with my BT Apple keyboard and trackpad, it was nice.

I bought mine in 2008 and used it with the 15" MBP 2008 model which is bigger and heavier. It also sits a bit further on the mStand but it is very solid. That is to be expected as this stand is a solid slab of quite thick aluminium. You can even type on the notebook without it bouncing up and down like there is no tomorrow (it'll bounce though, just not that annoyingly much).

I too have had that stand for about 18 months.. worked fine on my 12'' rMB and now with my new 13'' MBP. It's a fabulous stand, nice and solid, swivels, hole for the cables out the back.. Really recommend it..
