Hello everybody,
I recently bought a macbook pro 15 2018 - i9/32GB/1TB - not finding any of the known issues: in one word "perfect" :)
Honestly I was a bit worried about the keyboard - sticky keys but everything would seem ok.

Just one question: by quickly pressing the caps lock key the light does not light up. I think it's right this way but I also ask you if the same thing happens in your Mac.

thank you

Rarely any keyboard activates the Caps Lock on quick press. I think this is done on purpose, to disable the unintentional activation.

Right now, I am using the external keyboard, and even it won't activate the Caps Lock when you press and release the key quickly.

If I quickly tap the caps lock key, it does not engage, additionally, if I do the same thing on my external keyboard it exhibits the same behavior.

This is by design to avoid accidental presses of the caps lock key. You have to give it a “determined” press to make it activate.

Oddly mine seems to be a bit hit or miss where sometimes it does activate on a quick press. I wonder if that is why I seem to be having more than average issues with caps lock becoming inadvertently activated while typing?

Interesting observation, I had never noticed this until reading this thread, my 2017 MBP does the same thing. Like others have stated, it is likely an intentional setting in the programming to keep from accidental activations of caps lock.

it goes out with just a quick press:rolleyes:
Mine too! Pretty ingenious on the engineering honestly.
