MacBook Pro 2018 dead section of touch bar

Today I discovered that the end of my touch bar display is dead. The touch area still works, but the button is cut off.

I've tried a simple restart, killing the TouchBarServer process, and zapping PRAM -- no dice. Has anyone run into this before?

That happened to me sometime over the past couple of days to my MacBook Pro 2017. Can't be a coincidence. Software issue?
