Hello i have a problem.
The spacebar of the keyboard of my macbook pro 2019 15" is stuck/broken. So i cannot use it anymore.
I see there is a replacement service from Apple. I was wondering how long does this usually take?

I need this macbook pro actually for a daily use since its my work laptop.

Im going to bring it to the apple store in Amsterdam. Does anyone know if they fix it the same day?

An Apple Authorized Service Provider in Germany recently told me it takes three business days. The AASP himself does the repair with Apple-supplied parts.

The Dutch Apple stores strive towards 3-4 days since their post-COVID repair processes are now fairly decent. The stores now use big repair centers in Czech Republic. They do a little bit of the repairs in the store, but they keyboard quality programs are done in the external repair centers.

If you have to wait a few days while they fix it -- well, you'll just have to wait.

There's no other way to get it fixed, because THE ENTIRE TOP CASE of the computer must be changed out to "fix" the keyboard (even if it's only one key).

You'll get a new battery, as well.

It's "worth the trouble", so get it done.

Good advice above from locals. I had to do this a year ago also for my daily work computer - it's a bit faster here in North America, but something I did was try to set the appointment for a Fri (or Thurs) afternoon. They tend to work over the weekend, so it minimized the potential work days could be without the laptop. Over here, I had the Genius appt on Fri afternoon, and got my laptop back on Saturday afternoon.

If the timeline in Amsterdam is more like 3-4 days, you might want to try and time it for a Thurs?

Same issue. My MacBook has been in the repair center since March the 15th. Should I worry about anything since no update has been posted or should I wait it out and if so how long could that take.

The process took almost two weeks, the AASP just sent it to Apple directly.
