I got a new macbook pro 14", and since I started working with it, that I have this constant feeling that there's something very odd with the screen. It's almost as if my eyes can't focus on what's there, or as if there's a weird glow around the shapes.

On my 2015 macbook pro, iPad and iPhone, I don't have any of that. Tried to disable ProMotion, as well as play with brightness but that didn't help. A friend of mine also noticed the same in the screen, and she doesn't describe it as blurry but as hard to focus on what's being shown.

I've read a lot about PWV and so on, but I'm not sure if this is the case or not. Does anyone has the same experience and does it get better with time?

Thank you

There are a couple threads about this here, might be able to find one by searching blurry. Suspicion has been on screen coatings.

This assumes you're using the default resolution, and not seeing the very slight decrease in sharpness that can come with some other resolutions.

Check the thread I made... lots of info, lots of research as well as observations. I'd exchange it ASAP while you still have time. When you do get a good screen coating... you will know.

What thread? The thread in your history seems to just be talking about screen defects and peeling? My fonts are a little blurry and am having the same experience as OP.
