I think that whether or not the cards can address more RAM is a valid argument (i don't know if they can)
The argument about how much VRAM games use, however, is not. Shouldn't we expect games to start using more and more video ram? I'm not expecting every game to require a gig of VRAM in 2 years, but you get where I'm going.
