Well, I just got my Macbook Pro this morning. Wow it is sick.

Anyway is there a way to access my other computers on my network without installing Windows operating system.

Mac OS X can use both CIFS (Used by Windows, you need some hacks for Vista, though), NFS, and various others.

I'll assume your other computers are Windows XP:

You just need to hit Command-K from the Finder, and as the address type:
cifs://<username>@<machinename>/<foldername>

and it will appear on your desktop, after asking for your password.

At my house it's "cifs://dan@abednego/Shared" and my "Shared Documents" folder appears on my desktop.
