macbook pro and linux

    ok has anyone installed linux 9.10 because im having issues with it not showing any wireless networks or anything and trying see how to get it to find my router any help

    Suggestions:

    1. Figure out what Linux you're using. Hint: The most recent Linux is about 2.6.35. If you're seeing other numbers, you are looking at a specific distribution, such as "Ubuntu" (or one of the Ubuntu variants, like Kubuntu or Xubuntu).
    2. Find their support forums and ask there.

    Seriously, the Ubuntu forum is full of people who would love to help you with any hardware, help you figure out what parts you have and whether they've got drivers, and so on. This forum is full of people who will make fun of you for not being just like them, and I don't think I'd recommend trying to get help with Linux here. (I'd try to help, but I haven't got mine yet, and I don't know enough to tell you where to look; my first guess would be that the new machines have a new wireless card with no drivers in Ubuntu yet.)
