Macbook Pro Backlight Issue will swapping Display solve issue?

😕I have been having a Backlight issue with my Macbook Pro early 2011. It turns on and everything but can barely see anything. It does connect to my TV.

Also my keyboard backlight doesnt work anymore, but when pressing the shift key, the green light appears thats when I know whether my mac is on or not.

Will swapping my LED screen solve the issue?

What model of MacBook Pro do you have? When you say you can barely see anything, do you mean the backlight doesn't come on at all but you can see that the screen is still displaying something? What happens when you connect it to the TV, does it show the image ok?

Your best bet is to take it into an Apple Store or Authorised Service Centre.

I can only see stuff when I shine light against the screen. When connecting it to the TV everything appears to be alright. Apple wasnt much helpful.
