Macbook Pro backlight on keyboard automatically coming on...

So this just started happening where even though I do not have the backlight on, after waking up the screen the backlight comes on, even though it is set to not come on at all. Any ideas?

Uncheck Adjust keyboard backlight in low light under Keyboard in System Preferences. The backlight should now not do anything unless you tell it to, it should stay off if you set it to off, it will also keep the same brightness all the time if you turn it on.

thanks, simple reboot worked as well..
