I have a Mid 2009 MBP. Around the time I installed OSX Lion I've been experiencing high battery drain but went through the upgrades anyway - Mountain Lion and now Mavericks -- for about 2 years i've been plugged-in and finally decided to just get a new Apple Certified battery. After the battery upgrade I've gotten much better battery life, but nowhere near the 5-7 hours I used to get.

I'm running 10.9.2 (the latest update at this time 3/17/2014) and have upgraded to a OCZ Vertex 4 Solid State drive. I thought the HDD would help a lot with the battery life but I can't tell.

Are there any tools I can run to find out what's draining the battery? I've already used the "Activity Monitor" to watch processes and keep tabs on offenders. So far no red flags.
