What are some of the more popular 16" sleeve choices today? In the past I would generally purchase the Cache's from Tom Bihn but nowadays those are no longer produced. Plus when put a hardshell on the MacBook Pro 16" it changes the dimensions where they are no longer as snug when you have to upsize.

Looking for a sleeve that sits in a backpack.

Get a cache on eBay. I may have an used 16 inch from Bihn or Waterford if you are interested. Can’t beat either’s quality. My bag that I carry on has traveled the globe over the last 15 years and is in great shape.

Yeah I've still got a 1st generation brain bag that I would use to carry my laptop.

I know it's been a while since you posted but do you have the Waterford still and are you selling it?

Late to the post (By a mile) What are the go to hardcases / Covers for Mbp? In the past I've just bought the bog standard but will like to splurge a little at this stage (UK Preferred) Thanks

Pink leather slim sleeve from Daiso, for my M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14 inch.

The large flap doubles up as a mousepad.

I had Incipio I think it was called hard case on my 15" mbp, fit like a glove, but seems like they went under. for 16" I'm looking at a matte BlueSwan on amazon, but the images are all CGI, so no idea what's in the bag, and photo reviews of other options are a bit dodgy. the barely-there hinges are making me think the case won't hold, or mbp won't shut properly with the case on. somebody try it for me 😂

Same blue swan and soon jet are similar to each other: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CNTHHJW7/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_9?smid=AQ751C7OJM1AW&psc=1

I usually prefer sleeves over cases.

sleeves are for carrying around, personally I want a solid black hard case, not a see-through logo showcase. looks like the only decent option is some leather make, but at 150, it's the student discount gone.
Got it.

I’m not into cases yet. I use a fitted leather sleeve.

Just received my new 16” Space Black M4 Max MBP. Ordered tinted Soonjet TPU Keyboard cover, Ghostcover Palm guard, and currently deciding between my normal Moshi iGlaze clear case and InCase Dots Clear case. The Moshi case disappointed me for the 1st time as I have had many of these on my MBPs over the years. There were manufactuering defects out of the box and I had Amazon replace it— the replacement one was even worse. The QC seems to have gone down hill. The Incase Dots has zero defects and also has rear bottom corner protection. It seems to be a better material than polycarbonate, but the Dots slightly dull the gorgeous Space Black. It does given it subtle matte finish which is also not bad. I’m giving Moshi one more chance to send a warranty replacement, but if that unit has the same defects, guess I will be done with Moshi.IMG_4660.jpegIMG_4670.jpeg

Looks great! Quick question about the Moshi iGlaze and Incase Dots clear cases: have you noticed any impact on heat or ventilation while using them? I’m considering a clear case too, but I’m a bit concerned about trapping heat on the MacBook Pro.

I have not appreciated any increases with heat- there are 4-5 side vents on each side and the back is open. If anything the cases elevate the bottom from resting on desk so that should allow some additional heat dissipation if that may be a concern.IMG_4712.jpegIMG_4711.jpeg

I finally got a Defect free Moshi iGlaze case and returned the Incase Dots one. It was nice, but the crystal clear Moshi really allows the Space Black to shine through.
