Hi,

I have a MBP late 2013. I have 824 cycles on this battery and it's still at 85% health. Am I crazy or it's really good for a battery ?

Will it eventually fail to 0% or it's going to be a long and slow deterioration ?

thanks

That is insane good compared to what I'm getting.

Mid 2015 purchased December 2016. I'm currently at 316 cycles with 81 percent health.

damn I'm scared to buy a new macbook, battery don't seems to last very long now...

here's a screenshot of my current one

My 2014 is at 221 and my 2015 is at 321 so the previous owner of the 2015 used it on battery far more than I do. I don'tknow how you get the health percentage but it comes up as normal on both of my systems. I don't really care that much about it - if it becomes a problem, I'll bring it to the Apple Store and replace it. It's not an issue as to battery life for either for me.

my mid 2014 rMBP is at 90 cycles & 100% health. so yea you're doing fine

My late 2013 15-MBP has 424 cycles on it, and seems only a little worse for the wear. The most cycles I've ever seen was on my daughter's 2011 13-MBA, which had something like 1100 before it got the Replace Battery warning. It was a little more than 4 years old. The shortest was my wife's 2012 13-MBA, which had less than 300 cycles before the Replace Battery warning came (she usually kept it plugged in.) It was just under 5 years old.
