Macbook Pro Battery - Apple or 3rd party?

Hey all!

My MBP 3.1 needs a new battery - so I need a A1175 MA348LL/A part.

The Apple ones cost $130, but I can get a 3rd part one with the same ratings (if not higher) for about half that.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a battery? Is it best to get the Apple one, or a specific 3rd party brand?

I always get Apple batteries. That way if something really goes wrong with the battery you know who to talk to to fix the situation.

i would go for the original. just in case something goes wrong.
