MacBook Pro battery calibration

I got my 2001 13" Base yesterday and I haven't charged it yet and on 9% battery now.

With iPhones I've always let it run down and then fully charge as your supposed to to calibrate.

Should I do this with the MacBook?

It doesn't matter unless it shuts down at 9%. Battery calibration has nothing to do with battery health, which you cannot do anything about anyways.
