HI, :)
sorry for my bad English,
Just wondering how much battery percentage need to drain at sleep mode per hour... ?
My Mac wasn't had any problem until I plugged an external HDD via the usb C, than was a sound of POPING 3 times, the hard drive isn't working anymore ant the specific USB port don't work too. (no any visible damage).
Since that I don't using this specific port on my laptop. but I think my battery drains faster... specially on sleep mode...

Try to reset my SMC and million other thins, even Reinstall Mac OS Catalina again.
So I'm wondering how much battery percentage need to drain at sleep mode per hour - to know if there is any damage or this is in my imagination (that's because I don't use this laptop for long than 1 week so Idont know if is normal...)

last time I put my MacBook to sleep it was at 100% - 6 hours later - it was at 60%.
If I remember correctly it was way way better before this happened.

Please any advices ... Tank you all very much. ?

My System is :
MacBook Pro 15 - tuchbar 2017
Mac OS Catalina. (With all the updates installed)
Hibernation mode 25
Battery Cycles - only 10 !

Is the MacBook plugged in to anything while sleeping?

Have you looked at the Energy tab in Activity Monitor to see if some process is using the energy while it's sleeping? You should be able to see in the 12-hour column.

Thats wat I see... nothing is plugged in in sleep mode.

now the MacBook was 50% battery - was at sleep of 10 hours - after 10 hours - don't even turn on without AC.....

Sounds like you have an internal hardware problem, then. If you have any way to conveniently get it to an Apple Store or service provider, in many countries they'll give you a free diagnosis and repair estimate. (Call them first.)

Otherwise, you might be able to live with it. Does it also drain when it's shut down instead of sleeping?
