I've been using this machine for about 2-1/2 years. Bought with about 180 cycles on it, it now has ~350 and the battery life is hovering around 73-78% of design capacity and the OS is switching between "service battery" and "good" intermittently. I don't intend on replacing this machine as it's the "faster" i7 version with loads of memory.

Does anybody have recommendations for a good 3rd party battery? iFixit wants $120 or so for their kit, which frankly isn't far off of Apple's $199 price (and they replace the keyboard and bottom case to boot). There are sellers on Amazon selling batteries for ~$50 but I am wary of quality/forgeries.

Any experiences or vendors folks out there would be willing to share?

I have an iFixit kit coming tomorrow, my battery has gone down a 20% in capacity after 265 cycles and I swear it's a bit swollen. I might create a thread to share my experience swapping the battery.
