so i just got my MBP on Saturday and i have depleted and charged it twice.. thus i have two cycles.. i read on the laptop battery guide that 2 cycles per week will last you 3 years before dipping to 80%
can someone explain how i should use the battery charger.. for the next two weeks i dont have to go any where, so is it wrong to use the charger.

i had read somewhere that the proper way to "charge and retain battery" is to fully deplete and then charge. that is what i do with my cellphone and that is what i am starting to do on my MBP.. is this right or wrong?

    thanks

    ---nooby laptop beginner :p
PS i do have coconut battery installed!

I think to people put to much into worrying about this issue.

The odds are your laptop will be long outdated and need upgrading, long before you ever have to get the battery replaced.
