Hi folks, I'm opening this thread here although there's another one about the same issue in the Mac Pro section, here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=249097 Brief summary: my MBP emits a beep sound, not very loud but very annoying, randomly every few seconds/minutes. Turning the iSight camera on and off (for example opening and closing photo booth) "fixes" the problem until the next reboot. Has anybody had the same issue? Was the issue solved? Is this a software or hardware problem? At first it seemed to me a sw problem, but surfing the net I came across people wit the same issue who got their machine replaced, and that made me think that Apple considers it a hw problem (or they don't know what it is ). I was thinking about waiting before asking for Apple assistance, mainly for two reasons: - the problem maybe sw related, so an update might fix it (and the isight trick works all times) - I can't understand if the other known issues were solved. Apart from the beep (and the slightly bended top panel) my MPB is great. I don't won't to get it replaced just to find that one issue was replaced by new ones. Any suggestions?
