Wasn't sure how to describe it in the title, but here's a longer description:

I was going through the whole battery calibration ordeal, charging to 100%, running it down to sleep, and then leaving it in sleep for 5 or more hours. I plugged in the MagSafe adapter and charged it for about an hour or so (to 61%). When I opened it, it loaded up (presumably from the saved image on the HDD) and when it resumed, the top menu bar (apple bar?) had streaks through it, much like you would see if you cracked the LCD.

However, the streaks ONLY appeared on the top menu bar (thick black streaks, two or three, with a break somewhere between two) and disappeared when I QUIT Safari.

Should I be worried? What the heck was it?

Feel free to ask questions to get more answers!

    Thank you!

It sounds like a small GUI glitch. Do you have any theme changers or third party menu bar items? Does it happen again after a restart? If it's a one-off, then it's probably not worth worrying about. :)
