Macbook Pro black flashes

hi, i have a MBP (late 2008) and every time i put it in 9400 the screen sometimes flashes, ive ignored it but now its really starting to annoy me, whats wrong with my MBP ?

I have the same problem but I can't figure it out as well. If someone has an answer please share.
