I have the latest 12.9 iPad Pro but it has the blooming effect. Do we expect the same with the new MacBook Pro screens since it is essentially the same technology?

That’s a bummer. I wish Apple could figure this out. That’s my biggest problem with their current screen technology.

There are some rumors of future macbooks with OLED technology, which would not have this problem. Otherwise we will have to wait to micro-LED, but we’re a few years away from that.
