I have a Macbook Pro and the keyboard was damaged a year or so ago by a drink spilling on it, the Macbook itself has continued to work fine but the keyboard stopped working so I have been connecting my iPad as a wireless keyboard.

However the Macbook is now only booting up to the blue screen with a mouse, the bar at the top of the screen loads and I can open recent applications and system preferences and applications like quicktime load but no others (preview, photoshop etc.).

I wanted to know if I purchased a wired keyboard and plugged it in would it work and perhaps I could boot it in to safe mode?

Thanks

No Idea

Unfortunately you have a unique situation and only trial and error will show if it will work. I'm sure you can borrow a usb keyboard from somewhere though to give it a try!! Work, school, the local refuse yard, second hand from a charity shop for a dollar they really are everywhere
