MacBook Pro, boots shows red then nothing.

When I try to boot up my mbp, it makes the sound the screen flashes red then nothing else happens.

I can hear the computer ideally thinking but nothing ever happens.

Out of warranty, any help would be appreciated.

You have one of the older MBP's with the 8600gt, you are covered for 4 years on the logic board if it fails, which looks like it has.

Thanks for the replys. It is the first gen MBP, so even with the 4 years extended for the logic board, it would most likely still be out of warranty.
