Why can’t Apple place a better camera in the MacBook Pro lineup? is the display to thin? it just seems odd to me. Thanks

I've wondered this myself. The bezels can't be too thin, Apple pulls of affixing a camera into the slim "notch" on iPhones. They also have the engineering budget. I guess they don't have the courage yet.

Apple doesn’t play the specs game. If they think a certain component is up to the task it’s intended for, they stick with it.

People are reporting an obvious visual degradation from earlier models. Seems like more than just a spec sheet number.

It's no doubt a matter of courage. It would be so daring to use a better camera.
