MacBook Pro Charger - Buzzing noise

I was charging my MBP this evening when I noticed the charger (the charging block part) was buzzing when I charged it.

Also, when I put my MBP to sleep on my desk, my MBP felt warmer than normal on the bottom. Maybe I didn't leave it there long enough?

Regardless, is a buzzing noise coming from the charger normal? Or is my charger failing?

The white box that connects the cord to the MBP and then the chord to the power outlet. If that answers your question. Sorry about my lack of proper terms.

No worries, just wanted to clarify. If it was near the computer that would be bad. Although the power brick shouldn't be buzzing either, but that's much less serious. Chances are it's near the end of it's life, or there may be the chance that it was due a surge in electricity, but more likely there's something going bad in the brick itself.

I had assumed that it was just near the end of its life. Hopefully that's true, because that seems like a relatively simple problem to fix.

However though, could it be my Mac causing it to make noise? I didn't think that could be the case, but just curious. And also, do you think using that charger could damage my Mac?
