I have a fairly new macbook pro 13" I bought in June. Tonight I have noticed that my trackpad will register clicks, though on the right side of the trackpad it barely pushes down and is more difficult to push, making a very faint click that can barely be heard while the lower left side functions normally as it should. The center of the trackpad is much like the issue on the right side though not as severe.

While it still clicks, it obviously doesn't do so the right way. Would apple be willing to fix this for me or do I have to deal with this?

I'm confident Apple will fix your issue, just take it in to the Genius bar and get their opinion 🙂
