I was given a brand new 2.0 i5 256gb MacBook Pro today but can return it and switch to the 2.9 i5 with touch bar for 3-400 is the upgrade worth it processor wise as well as buying a brand new untested product (touchbar)? What do you all think for a everyday computer and doing some occasional hd GoPro video

Yes can return it, for full price and upgrade if wanted just not sure if it's worth the money/risk on more parts to worry about 3 years down the road

Without a doubt I'd be returning it and waiting for a laptop which is valued for what it is actually worth.
