MacBook Pro Conundrum...

Do I go with the base model 16” MacBook Pro for $2050 or the 1tb 2020 Macbook Pro for $1800? The $250 difference makes the 16” a very appealing option. I probably don’t really need the power of either, but jumping to discrete graphics is appealing.

What will you use it for?

Based off what you said I’d say go for 16” for the following reasons:
- You seem to be OK with the larger size
- Discrete graphics will come in handy
- The speakers on the 16” destroy the 13”
- The screen size is majestic on the 16” for productivity vs the 13”
- Better cooling and performance on 16”

16” will always be better in almost every way imaginable. Except portability
