MacBook Pro Core i5 2.3 15 Early 2011 still powerful?

I have a great deal on the table for a 15" Macbook Pro i5 2.3ghz , 8GB ram for $350. I would be using this for basic desktop use maybe some photoshop here and there but nothing too crazy.

Think this machine is worth it?

you sure this is a 15", or a 13"? i can't find those specs on a 15" as i think they all had an i7?

Any 15" 2011 model is subject to logic board failure due to the GPU. I would stay away.
