Found this santa rosa MBP on CL just now, it seems like a pretty good deal only about a year old with applecare for another two years. Could probably haggle it down a bit, what do you guys think?

    Apple MacBook Pro (15.4" 2.4GHZ) - $1750

15.4" MacBook Pro (Mid 2007, 2.4GHz) in excellent condition.

    Part #: MA896LL

    - 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
    - 2GB (two 1GB SO-DIMMs) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) RAM
    - NVIDIA GeForce Graphics 8600M GT w/ 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM PCI Express Graphics
    - 15.4" Anti-Glare Matte screen
    - 160GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) Hard Disk Drive
    - 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) Optical Drive
    - AppleCare Protection Plan which expires on 15 August 2010
    - Comes with original remote, manuals and cables

asked him about condition and why hes selling, i got
"I've had it less than a year. It is in pristine condition and I'm selling since I have a second computer and would like the money for other reasons."

Here's something to compare it too. Apple Refurb It isn't the same processor speed. The graphics card is better and the Hard Drive is larger. With the Apple Care for another 2 years I would think that is a pretty good deal. Especially if you can haggle him down another 100 bucks....

With that said, buy at your own risk...
